On 16th December 2014 The DQ Week organized Tech Caravan at Hotel Continental Park Vijayawada. In 'Tech Caravan' conference the distributors, resellers discussed and debated the issues concerning partners.
The Tech Caravan event is a platform where partners discuss and debate the issues concerning them and also talks about on emerging technologies. As we know that with the changing market dynamics the thin line between VAR or an SI or a reseller is obliterating. Gone are the days when partners would just sell boxes and augment their businesses.
The event was a success as many partners across Vijayawada came and join the event and discussed about the market scenario of Vijayawada. Many partners shared ideas as how one can grow its business in the time when e-commerce is in its peak.
Canon and Kaspersky sponsored the event and Satyanarayan, business manager, channel sales, Canon and Veerendra Krishna, senior territory manager, channel sales were present on that day where they showcased the latest models of printers and scanners.
Satyanarayan showed an AV of cannon’s history and talked about their latest products and the facilities.
“Canon is a trusted product and from many years they have been serving the people but we have also seen that few online sites is been selling duplicate products of cannon”, added Satyanarayan.
Many other partners and distributors were also present who showed concern about the ongoing market scenario in Vijayawada and the e-commerce industry. To that PG Vijay Kumar from Angel Computer said, “Online market or ecommerce has made our business terrible and we are having a big loss from many months so I want The DQ Week to focus into our problems and try to raise this issue as much as possible. Tech Caravan has given us a great opportunity and a platform where we all meet and can discuss about it.”
Tech Caravan is happening from last 6 years and every year the enthusiasm and partner support is increasing, making this event a huge achievement.
