BSNL launches ‘Bharat Phone’ range with Pantel Technologies

BSNL in association with Pantel Technologies launched the next generation of smart devices - the "Bharat Phone" PF300, the Penta Smart models - PS501 and PS650, and the next generation Penta T-Pad WS707C respectively.

The ‘SaareJahan Se Acha' Bharat Phone will dramatically alter the Indian feature phone industry with the device being especially optimized for Internet access. At an affordable price of Rs 1,799, this device will deliver the power of the Internet in the hands of the common man.

The large screen and the proprietary JAVA OS are ideally suited for applications like mobile banking, tele-medical care delivery and streaming data delivery - in addition to being a voice phone.
