After the World Environment Day celebrations with the state Government, All Kerala IT Dealers Association, AKITDA is heading to all districts of Kerala in order to spread GST awareness in the whole state.
AKITDA just like other associations in the country was concerned about the GST awareness and wanted to educate its members from the very beginning of the proposal but apart from the literacy of its own members the association wanted to educate the whole state.
In talking to The DQ Week, P.G Suresh, President, AKITDA said, “The seminars on GST awareness and procedures to be adopted are completed in Kollam, Alappuzha, Cochin, Palakkad and Kannur Districts of Kerala.
The initiative by the association is going really well in the whole state and the aim is to cover as many districts as possible. The events/seminars will take place in parallel with the implementation of the GST.
“Thrissur and Malappuram will be covered soon”, added Suresh.
The association mainly aims to cover any 13 districts of the state and is really enthusiastic about the whole working.
According to the president of the association, the executive body has been organizing GST seminars so far within the association only but now it’s doing the same in all districts of Kerala which is really a positive initiative by the association and hopes to spread awareness on the same agenda.
Thiruvananthapuram, Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, and Vayanad’s seminars are to be covered by the 2nd week of July 2017.
Last month the Kerala association celebrated World Environment Day with the State’s Government in an event where the prime focus was to concentrate on e-waste Management and plastic Management, where the association also proposed a plan of establishing a management plant in Kerala and requested Government to provide assistance in the whole process by providing land for the same.
