The event started with Mandeep Hazarika, territory manager, North East Region, Canon presenting on the Inkjet Printer launched in 2015. The printer is launched under the series name Maxify which is designed especially for business use. There are total of 5 printers, out of which three are targeted for channel namely Maxify MB5370, 5070 and iB4 070 and two for system integrators namely MB 23X0 and MB20X0. Without focusing on the SI targeted printer models, Hazarika highlighted on the features of the three models targeted for the channel partners. The printers comes with overalapping paper lead, single pan 2 sided scan, dual resident high density ink, high capacity XL ink tanks, high capacity paper supply. Wired/wireless LAN compatibility, 30 inch color TFT viewer with touch screen, link to cloud, has the ability to display records of use.
The Agartala market being more adept at using Laser printer, the event provided a platform to Canon to market their new launch in the Inkjet category which has equal number of features like that of Laser printer. Hazarika also spoke briefly on the new model MF 221D which is an upgrade of 4820D Indian Legal Duplex Printer. The new launch produces papers at the rate of 21 ppm possessing 128 Mb Ram as opposed to 23ppm with 64 Mb RAM.
After this, Krishna Chandra Bal, sales manager, East, NNR Max Secure whose intention was to popularize Max Secure Anti Virus in the Agartala Market which gives better margin, sales support , round the clock Tech support , offline activation feature to its partners and respective users. The Anti Virus comes in variant models addressed to the SMB, mobile, enterprises, etc. The event saw a footfall of 27 partners with 15 unique companies who networked and discussed on a number of critical issues plaguing the Agartala channel community and seeking a voice to address them.
