ADCTA runs ‘Save traders’ campaign on social Media

Clean chit by CCI in favour of e-commerce portals has challenged the offline market in a big way. In order to save traders and fight for their business practices is still being continued by the partners as well as various associations. ADCTA, Delhi association is one of them who are continuing with their efforts to save offline market.

In order to support and protect livelihood of million of traders, employees and their families ADCTA is running “#Savetraders” campaign on social media to aware people and fight for justice.

Swarn Singh, secretary of ADCTA commented, “There are many more things, which are hurting and destroying established traditional market of all trades such as IT, electronics, footwear, fashion, mobile, games, books and others. We are from IT market and never afraid of competition and arrival of new technology, because on equal grounds - they never ever beat us. But business models of few e- tailers has created big difference in traditional market.”

#Savetraders campaign will be shared at large scale where partners will have right to support and keep their issues to avail justice. Partners on the other hand are also actively participating and supporting campaign on Twitter and Facebook.

As Competition Commission of India overlooked submission by association and passed orders which according to partners proved e-tailers are the ones running these business model as enterprise, which was sufficient for CCI to stop e-tailers practiced business model. ADCTA will also appeal again to investigate business models of e-tailers which are creating predatory pricing and many more issues.

“E-tailers are abusing the law of land, black money is generating, tax evasion is going on because of their business model. But no one is taking action and stopping their un-ethical business models. But we are seeking for positive results as fight for right never goes waste,“  added Swarn Singh.

The main motive of the campaign is to reach to maximum traders and constructplatform for all the traders to join at one place.
