Samsung enterprise business head Garde quits to join Phillips

Samsung India country head for enterprise business Sameer Garde has resigned from his post. He is now President South Asia at Philips India

Garde joined Samsung in 2013 to set up the enterprise business on a project basis. Prior to joining Samsung, Garde was serving Dell. Before that, Garde had also worked in Whirlpool, Pepsi and Nestle.

According to a Samsung spokesperson, "Both Sameer Garde and Samsung have come to a mutual agreement on this decision since the assigned project has been successfully completed due to his tremendous contribution. We wish Sameer Garde good luck in his new assignment."

Garde commented, "My mission at Samsung for the last year was to set up the enterprise business in India. After completion of this project, I have decided to move on."
