All Delhi Computer Traders Association (ADCTA) has recently concluded a two-day health camp in the Nehru Place for its members on 18th and 19th November.
The camp was organized in association with Fortis Hospital-Chirag Enclave.
The two-day camp saw a footfall of around 800 members, mentions Mahinder Aggarwal, president, ADCTA. Aggarwal said, "We organize a health camp every month to look into the pressing issues of health. Blood sugar and blood pressure were two important issues that were looked into."
Last month, the association also called upon doctors from Fortis Hospital focusing primarily on the need for exercise and created awareness around ill effects of tobacco and ways to prevent heart diseases. The association also distributed Fortis' Healthy Neighborhood Card to members with discounts on consultancy and pharmaceuticals.
Recently, ADCTA also held a cricket match for unprivileged children in association with the NGO-Save the Children.
